Situated conveniently close to Halifax railway station Eureka! was the UK’s first ever interactive museum and is a truly innovative and exciting display space which is aimed primarily at youngsters between the ages of three and 12 years. Offering over 400 hands-on exhibits, there is certainly plenty to keep the young ones amused. It’s all good fun but educational too, with displays that explore themes such as the human body and technology. With a cafe, gift shop and picnic area, Eureka! is perfect if you want to distract the young ones for a few hours.
